We thought we could just leave the Earth that birthed us and move on to something new. Now, we have screwed that up too! The only way forward now is to go backwards. Back to the land that birthed us. Our true home. Our very being needs its nourishment. We have tried everything to save ourselves and nothing has been a success yet. My name is Mayim Yom and I'm going to save my people!

This book of poems, long and short, moves through the struggles we face when seeking to regain faith and love after being spiritually crushed. It tells the struggle of lifting mental chains and gaining freedom with new life.
